A huge thank you to the 20,000+ petition signers, volunteers, local organizers, and everyone else who worked so tirelessly to convince Barack Obama to run for President. Your efforts were a success.

That means our work here at Draft Obama is done, but the work to elect Senator Obama to the Presidency is just beginning. If you haven't taken time to yet, please sign up with the campaign and convince your friends, family, relatives, enemies, strangers, pets, and anyone else you can think of to work hard on the behalf of our next president.

To remember and commemorate the effort and effect 20,000 times, the Draft Obama site will remain online and accessible. Updates will obviously be few and far between, but user accounts and comment threads will remain open. You can access the archived site here.
